The National Show Horse at the ASAoGB

The National Show Horse is a type that exclusively mixes
the blood of the American Saddlebred with the Arabian. Developed in
the The ASAoGB operates the National Show Horse Stud Book of
Great Britain. Part bred Saddlebreds with Arabian ancestry and registering in
Saddlebred Registries B and C are eligible for dual registration in the
NSHSBoGB (percentages apply - we will work it out for you). All that is
required is a tick in the box on the Part Bred Application form indicating
the desire to dual register the animal. After The ASAoGB has initiated classes for National Show Horses
in several major shows. Our CHAPS UK Champion in 2006 was A Chance of Fame - see
